Question Intercooler motor

How soon should you see action in the intercooler tank? I started my truck today and watched it. It took about 5-10 sec before anything started to move in the tank. Is that normal?

I believe that the delay is normal.

Was your truck already warm when you did this?

That pump is controled by the computer and takes a few seconds to start when warm, but takes a few minutes when the truck is cold.

The truck was sitting for about two hours.
