Unhappy Dissappointing Dyno #'s

I just got back from Florida, where I dynoed the "L" at Panhandle Perfromance ( which BTW, is the same place and dyno that the truck was dynoed on last time in December but the temp. was only about 50-55 degrees then and now is low 70's and only slightly more humid )
OK, last time the truck went 380 hp ( at normal operating temp. ) and 476 torque ( at normal temp. ) with the following mods: JDM Boost-Bypass, Sean Hyland Upper Pulley 2-3# boost, and a K&N panel filter...
Now I have added PSP 4-way chip (tow, street, track, nitrous), PSP Longtube headers w/twin Magnaflow mufflers, JL 3# Lower Pulley, Electric Fan&Cobra R Water pump, and NGK BR7's (.036gap)...and we only dynoed the street program ( for lack of proper fuel ).
399 hp and 481 torque ( THIS SUCKS A BIG ONE )
I'm sure the Track program would do better but I was expecting more than a 19hp and 5 ft.-lb torque gain...not to mention that my Seat-of-the-pants Dyno says it sucks too..
Now lets not get into bashing tuners but, Mark ( the owner of Panhandle Perf. ) put a BASELINE progam chip in to see if we could improve and we got 410hp and 503ft.-lbs of torque...
Maybe Sal will chime in and comment, but for now I'm dissappointed BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's not unusual for some trucks to not produce the expected power, and just like everyone else, sometimes it takes a few reburns to get the proper tune. That's the crappy part about mail order. Luckliy, about 90% of our chips are dead nuts on from the start, but every truck is different and some respond different to the same mods.

What would be helpful here is for you to send me copys or good scans of the dyno sheets. The most important thing to see is the A/F. If you have copies of both our program vs Marks, that can help us pinpoint what needs to be adjusted. Just get that data to me, and we'll revise your programs.

I would say those plugs are fine but maybe you should get some one hotter ones like tr6's and gap them at at least .040 . I know you have them on for the nitrous and that is what they are for, but if you want #'s that is what I would probably do.

Your truck is set up for nitrous(plugs and the gap you have). If you want big numbers w/o nitrous you need to put new plugs in and set the gap bigger.
Since you seem to care about the numbers you should change out the plugs, if you know you're not going to be running the nitrous.
I don't know what you should be running. It is hard to compare because a lot depends upon cool down, humidity, the truck itself, altitude, etc.

Are you running a 2 pound upper and 3 pound lower pulley? Or just the 3lb lower now?

Just curious cause I'm running a 2 pound upper and 4 pound lower with the same plugs as you, but I gapped mine at .042 for some extra heat.

I know you hate to have to change your plugs out from going to the track to the street, but thats part of the game. I plan on spraying a 50shot with the same plugs gapped at .040 also, but I'm just going to tune the fuel regulator for more fuel.

On another note, your first dyno run that you made is out of the ordinary! There's no way thats a correct dyno number for that truck with those mods. No flame intended, just telling you how it is.

380 hp/476ft.lbs with K&N panel filter, Sean Hyland Upper pulley ( I know it makes 2#, maybe 3# ) JDM boost bypass, and Panhandle perf. Autologic chip!!!!

No flame intended, just telling you it DID make these corrected numbers with the above mods

CHIKIN1,

You did not state that you had a chip in your first post that stated your original dyno numbers. That is why people questioned.
