Pics of my engine bay just cleaned

After following the advice of some board memebers I just wetted down the engine bay first and sprayed on some simple green and rinsed. Afterward I hit it with a 230mph leaf blower that did short work of puddeled water. Then I used some Turtle wax plastic/vynal protectant.

Here are the results:

Is the Turtle Wax stuff you used similar to Armor all that I recommended?? Just curious because I have never used any alternate brands. Looks great!! I forgot to mention the leaf blower, they work great!!

Question

Hey guys - quick ?

Can you hurt the L hosing down the enginewhen it is still hot?? I just don't want to hurt anything. Can't imagine I would, but just want to be sure.

Thanx in advance,

JP

EvilGuy - Looking Good! Looks like it's time to flush your brake fluid too.

Pwr_Whls - I wouldn't spray cold water on a hot engine. You could crack something.

Yup, the turtle wax is very similar to the Armor All, it's milky.

PWR_WHLS:

Please don't even think about doing that much less, doing it! I only wash/clean my eng. the morning after my L has had a night's rest .
