Hypertech Power Modle

I was just in to their website and noticed that they now have the Power Module available for the 99-01 Lightning. Anyone bought one yet?

I looked at it, I would like to see what all it does. I am guessing you wont have many options but stock alittle over tuning. Im sure they could burn some custom options modules to put in it and give you more room to change things. My buddy had that done in his TA and it worked ok. I just dont know about the Blower pulleys and stuff. Might get pretty expensive to make it work...

VA01,

Care to come down for street night Friday??

Cool

VA 01,

Save your money. Collin let them use his 99 L to come up with the first progam. He said it might have been worth 2 tenths and they didn't do anything with the transmission. They wanted his truck back a couple of months later for more testing and he agreed. They gave it back saying they couldn't get any extra out of it. Unless they have done something different then that's what you will get.

I had good luck using their stuff on earlier model GM's but they sure missed the mark on the L.

Cool

When I had my Superchips R9 (stock program as you called it) I gained 4 tenths and the tranny bumped a gear if this helps in your comparision.

Nitro,

JJ has great customer service. I ordered a water pump from him and had it in a couple of days. I think you will be happy with the results.
