Weird stuff on paint, need help

Washed my Black L in the garage, dryed it. Then applied 3M Swirl Remover to the whole truck. Took it off. Backed truck into the sun to see if I missed anything. It looked great. Pulled it back in the garage and was leaving, turned around and OH NO! There are spots all over the truck, they look like hollow water spots but really ugly. Some white spots in places also. What are these weird water spot looking things? I try to take them out but its close to impossible, they just smear.

If you put tire dressing, its probally overspray. if it is, it will come out, just keep trying.

Andrew,

From your description of the spots, it sounds like you have fallen victim to acid rain. I would recommend using a light duty polishing compound to remove the spots. They are tough to get out but can be done. Wax and polish as usual after the polishing compound. An orbital buffer will help to make it easier. Porter Cable makes an orbital buffer that works great, is affordable, and available at Home Depot or Lowes.

Good luck and stop parking it outside.

I'm no body expert, but I believe you could clay bar it. That seemed to work on my buddies supra.
