I was heading for the trout stream yesterday and stopped to fill up and sitting on the other side of the pump was a gorgeous red L. I started pumping and looked around for the owner, but he was inside paying. I was looking for a 20 something guy, but to my surprise the man who came to get in the truck was at least 65. I commented on his truck and he on my SCrew. I guess he noticed I was surprised by who owned the L and he said "we're not here that long, we need to enjoy it." Amen brother.

 

Just 'cause we're old don't mean we're dead. That'll come soon enough. I pulled up next to a nice red gen. 1 L. in my VW at a light the other day, and motioned the driver (looked to be in his 30s) to roll down his window. Told him nice truck, and that I had a Lightning in my garage. He asked what year, and when I told him he just grinned and said "Bastard". Sort of made my day.
