I am about to give my truck (1997 4x4 4.6) it's first tune up. I run her pretty hard and am considering the MSD ignition install at the same time as the tune up. What are the best plugs,wires, and all other tune up parts? I have read how difficult it is to replace the plugs and want to replace them with the best so they will last. Thanks.

 

I would just replace with stock parts. The spark plug change on your truck should be a lot easier than ours since you do not have any coil pacs to deal with.

I would ask your question in the engine forum, since our engines are quite a bit different than yours, they will be able to help you better over there.

 

you may want to ask this question in a different forum. Such as the engine forum or regular f150 forum. Those guys may know more about it. You probably only need to start one thread instead of several.
