Does anybody know if you can invoke 'lemon law' rights because of cracking foglights? You know - give 'em three times to fix it, then make 'em buy back the truck.

I'm not saying I'd want to get rid of my truck just for some cracking lamps, but sometimes the velvet hammer approach is the only way to get their attention. If they think they're going to have to buy back a whole bunch of trucks, maybe FoMoCo will get off their butts and 8D this problem.

These lights seem to crack from the inside out. Some have offered the theory that due to the heat of the bulb, driving in the rain with the lights on causes the cracks from the shock of the cold water. There may be something to it, since I no longer use my foglights in fog or wet weather, and have had no cracks since both were replaced under warranty. However this seems kinda contadictory for the purpose of the lights in the first place!!!
