Just wondering if there was any kind of Lightning club up here in new england ......and if not would anyone be interested in getting something together..... nothing cult like, but just a chance to plan some get togethers and stuff. Read alot about the clubs around and thought maybe some of you would be interested.......

 

Ive been wanting to do that since 99.I know of quite a few owners up this way.I think a sat night cruise night should definatly be planned.Every other sat night or something.

Lets ay arond 6-6:30 we all met somewhere like a parking lot in Salisbury Ma.We could get a bite to eat .We have many fast food restueants locally and then cruise down the beaches on the cruisning strip.
Salisbury beach.hampton beach ,up the coast line for some winding nice roads along the ocean.and then come back rte 1 .

I live in a great middle of the world location.

Im sure all of you are familiar with hampton beach

this would keep us busy till about 10 pm

 

go to hampton quite often, but got my L as the beach season ended last year. Just make sure you have your hood on...hehe. Saw a sick tricked out Stang last year with no hood. The staties were on him like flies on ****. He told them it few off on 95 so they told him they'd send a unit out to get it.....about what exit did it happen? hahha Yeah, I think that's a great idea. there is a good amount of Lightning Owners in New England, I have a 1993. There are not many clubs for Lightnings Though, but "SVTOA" has a branch in New England and puts out very good info; Like tomorrow (Sat) their have a Dyno day in RI.

We usually have a pretty good trail of trucks from New England to Lightning events in NJ.

Ther was some mention over the winter about starting a northeast area club on NLOC, but nothing definite. Whenever I go to NED (whether on wednesday, friday or w/e) I find plenty of other Ls. Would definitely be fun organizing get-togethers (cruize nites, breakfast runs, trips to NE and other strips).
Anyone up for organizing?

Oh yea,you would meake a great leader,why dont you try and put something together unless your racing season is too busy LOL

 

You might be surprised when the mini van smokes you. It is faster than you think, with it's 3.8V6 it would be a funny race.

Don...I vote for you too bud! You seem to be able to make most events, catch most posts and are on the ball, we should definetly get something going.

A Salsbury beach cruise sounds cool and does sound like a good central meeting place.
