Bad experience with Lightning seller (Long)

Link to NLOC

Just so people know what kind of shape this truck is in, and arent conned into going to look at it, unless you are looking for a truck in this condition.

A difference in opinion as to what is clean, or what is not is one thing. This was just too far gone and was basically a lie. If you guys see that and are considering the truck, at least have someone that lives in the area take a look at it first. Dont just go by his word...

That is why I have a digital camera

Whenever I sell anything whether it be a car, a gun, a piece of electronics whatever, I always state that I would be happy to take pictures of whatever the person would like to see. You want a shot of the undercarriage, no problem, you want the engine bay, just give me a couple of hours etc.

This has worked out well for me and everybody I have dealt with seems to have appreciated the up front honesty. As rule though I have nothing to hide and keep all of my things as close to pristine as possible. My cars are not show cars but they usually look dealer showroom new after 70K miles.

I can't stand people who lie or BS or try to screw other people out of their hard earned money. Luckily it seems that most of these internet communites of car guys or gun guys seem to be filled with good up front people.

Buyer Beware though.

Now if anyone is interested I have a pristine Ford GT40 for sale for $40,000..............ahh nevermind.

Jeff:

Just as I posted on your thread on nloc, they deleted(?) it. At least I can't find it now???

What I said was "since they both live in Miami, he and bulldog/DOLT are really 'tight-buddies'--ya know what I mean Verne?

When I was shopping for a vette a couple years ago ,the seller of one had me drive an hour to see his PRISTINE vette. When I got there he lifted the hood and used a BROOMSTICK to hold the hood up.Without saying a word,I got in my car and just left.I would probaly be in jail if I did what I wanted to the guy.
