would love to pass it on, get MOTHER'S MAG AND ALUMINUM POLISH (any auto parts store should have it) follow the directions for the outside of the pipes, on the inside, use a wire wheel on a drill to remove all of the black ***** then polish the inside just as u did the outside. i paid $7.50 for the economy size tin of polish---well worth it!!

i wish i would have taken pics befor i did it, it was a huge difference!!

also its funny--you/re just like me, i "plan" to wash my truck too, i like to pencil in alone time w/ my L!!

Thumbs up

Thanks for the tip, I know others have used Cerama Brite, but I couldn't find any. I'll have to look for this mothers brand. Do you know of anyway to substitute the wire wheel part? No wire wheel or drill

crema brite is real abrasive (sp?) it will actually dull the tips.

you could use a wire brush. im just too lazy for that, sooner or later u will need to buy a drill, why not now? (damn, i sound like i work at home depot or something)

I am going tomorrow to buy that! I scrubed my tips with Never Dull for almost an hour, and you could BARELY tell a difference. I sure hope the Mother's stuff is easy to use.

Thanks guys,

BTW- Great job on the tips! I think yours came out better than mine!

Ceramabryte SUCKS on the stock tips. Never use it, unless you like the scuffed, white chalky look.

I gotta compare the pics now. . .
