Appearance Package????.........
What exactly is the "appearance package" SVT speaks of with the 2003 L. Also, if production is up for the 02's at the end of October, is anything ordered after that an 03 or do we wait for awhile? How long does it take after you order? Thanks guys appreciate the info on this board. (especially x-plan!)

Stock chrome wheels like most STANDARD vehicles have these days,and if they pay any attention to Lightning owners,we all chrome them...................DuH it takes them 4 years??!!
minor interior changes with sewed on anniversary badges on the seats,dash plaque.
same grille as the HD.
I know for a fact that they are deleting 1 color(99% sure probally WHITE) and coming out with a new color.I say white because it was not even supposed to make this year and isnt even on tech cards as being a color so If one goes,you can bet its that one! I called SVT and They would not release any information but with enough confusing questions to them,they slipped a little and told me that.I gave them charcoal grey as a suggestion.
Dont any of you start thinking that 03 is going to be some special Horspower Monstor Lightning or anything special.Ford would not waste the money on 1 year of a truck.Next year is last year.Also,I think it would really pi$$ off ALL previous year Lightning owners.
Im sure they will come out with a generation 3 lightning but it will take a few years as did the 97 body change.Maybe not as long but it wont be available 1st year,you can count on that!
oh yea,dont start saying that 01-02 bolts are 3rd generation.They are not they are just expeted upgrades.

05-? 3rd we can prey for!

Im ordering my 3rd generation 2 Lightning in the morning.all three have been white.I LOVE white ones with chrome wheels.The only other colors I would concider but probally not buy because of my love for white is Blue or silver
I wont buy these coors for the following reasons.
Black....to hard to keep clean and I only like black with alot of chrome.
red.... hate red cars and trucks ...enough said.
silver...thought about it ALOT,looks even better than white with chrome wheels but since 01,i think the only color SVT had made was silver
Blue.... very nice,too hard to keep clean but tempting
I would have a hard time choosing between blue and silver.I would probally go with blue just to be different..........
