It's a radiator overflow tank.

does that just increase fluid capacity so the engine stays cooler or something?

If you look at his and then look at yours you will notice he removed the stock overflow tank. I think he did this for room for his custom ram air kit....

BINGO!

the stock unit was getting in the way so I decided to get this one from my local shop and use that. Its a pretty nice setup cause I have so much extra room there now. Looks cool too, but for 89 bucks it might not be for everyone. Then again I tend to waste money on stupid stuff, HEHEHEHEHE.

My engine compartment has more room then spiro's did when had his gutted. You can also fit a baby jake inside there now.
