Wink check this out

NGK TR7s

If so, how much extra boost (#pulley) are you running to see the need for these plugs. I'm getting ready to put in a 4#pulley and I believe I'm going to be using the 7s instead of the 6s. Opinions?

In my opinion, I think the 7's are too cold and would foul onder daily driveing.

But I would highly recomind that you contact your tuner and see what his opinion would be.

I would go with the TR5 or TR6

I run the TR6 with 3.5 extra boost and they work great for me.

I have the BR7's with my 4# pulley, and they are doing good. I lost a little throttle response, but other than that no problems with fouling.

keep those opinions coming

ttt

Especially opinions on running a 4# pulley or more.

Would also like to know part# for Ngk tr7 and if you know part# for belt for 4lb pulley. I believe napa # for belt is 080670 but is there any others you might know other than napa. Thanks.

The 7 is a real cold plug, Your not going to have a big detonation problem now that the air is getting less dense with summer coming. I run a NGK TR 5 gapped down to .038 and its fine. A TR 6 lasted about two weeks of everyday driving before I fouled them out and I run a 6# pulley. I wouldn't go with a 7 unless your just going to be racing. I don't know the belt part number for the 4# but I do know that the NAPA 8 rib belt 68" long is the one that you want for a JL pulley.
