Went to Discount Tire today to order new set of rubber. I live in a small town so there were a lot of "lookers". A young kid from San Diego brought in his Mustang GT (trick exhaust and a lot of secret stuff) and really eyed the L.

Very interesting conversation with him later...he wanted a nice car and has a 2003 SVT Cobra on order. I expected a lot of "smack" from him and to my surprise...the exact opposite.
He gave many props to the L and said that he always wanted one but his girl would let him get a truck.

He was very respectful and appreciative for the info I gave him on the L and the Cobra. He said that he is tired of getting his **** handed to him by Vettes and Camaros and that he has worked hard to save the green for the 2003.

This one young man re-affirmed my faith in the future of muscle cars/trucks....somebody's Mommy and Daddy should be proud!
