I bought mine from http://www.truckperformance.com It's like model 1011 or something from hypertech. If you go to their website you can choose F150 and 5.4.

I'm to much of a puss to go for the 160. I think that with the 170 that my heater will still not get warm enough for me, and I live in Texas. yea yea yea I know it doesn't get cold here.
So does this ticket have a part number? Dageon

Thumbs up

The 160* stat works great where I live in the deep south. The heater gets just as hot to me as it did with the stock thermostat installed. I've had mine in for about 6 months.

Got my Hypertech 160* at local Auto Zone for about the same as everywhere else. I believe they also show a P/N for a 170* but my experience in New England is that at ~30* weather I noticed no difference in heater output. Haven't had the truck out in weather warmer than 50* yet, but between thermostat and switch to NGK TR-5s, the truck feels alittle more responsive and there's a noticeable reduction in black soot on exhaust tips.

Stant lists a 170* thermostat for the 5.4, sorry I don't have the part number but a good parts house should be able to help you. Personally I went with the 160* stat but then again it was 82* here at 8am and I think I used the heater 2 times this year for a total of 10 minutes or so .
