Question Canton stuff- part #'s gains?

I'm thinking about getting some Canton stuff and wanted opinions. I also need to find out if the part #'s I have are correct and if anyone has tried this stuff and gotten any gains.

Canton products

oil pan #15784 (multi-baffled)
windage tray #20-939C
oil adapter plate(so I can use the accusump w/o rerouting the oil filter) #22549
accusump #24-004 (normal 3 quart) #24-014 (high pressure 3 quart)
CM filter #25-290(4 1/4 inch) #25-490 (6 1/4 inch)

Which accusump to get the high pressure one? Will some custom work need to be done to get the oil pan/or windage tray to fit?

You might see some gains with the windage tray. The rest is just very good insurance to a long motor life. Very import if you plan to use the accusump on the street. You have to remember to open the valve. Not sure the accusump is worth the trouble on a daily driver.

Don't

get their fuel filter. I did because their site listed it for F150s. It has line connectors that are too short--you can get the fuel lines hooked up but you will never be able to get the tool in to remove the lines.

I think any time you can get oil circulating before starting would be good. I also plan on some auto cross for fun. You can get the electric valve and wire it to a switch or ignition for easy access.

I inquired about a windage tray a while back and was told that since our engines rarely see the 6000 rpm mark that it would basically give no positive return at all.

Just what I was told for what it's worth.

The windage tray is very inexpensive and I figured I might as well do it since the engine is apart.

If possible get a remote oil filter and run lines up to it.The reason being that when you open the valve for the accusump it sees no oil psi on EITHER side of the filter and unless it has an antidrain back valve in the filter[I don't know]the oil will take the path of LEAST resistance[which is back thru the filter and to the pan]In mine I put a ck valve that allows oil to flow to the filter but not back from it.That way I KNOW the oil is going to the engine on first start.stan

Stan, where did you mount the accusump and which line did you tie into, from the engine or return to the engine?
Also did you get the high pressure 3qt or the regular one? The High pressure one is 22 inches long while the regular is only 16.
