new 01 shocks from fordpartsonline.com??

Do the new 01 style shocks from Fordpartsonline.com come with the new nuts for the rear, or are they seperate???

For people that have gone from the stock 99's to the Bilstein's, how does the ride and handling compare??

Thanks!!

Thumbs up Worth The Money

I had a guy put them on for me and I believe he used all the parts that came with 'em. I watch him do the install and the top nut on the drivers side rear was a bitch for him. You will notice an improvement in the ride.

Speaking of that drivers side upper nut, has anyone come up with a good way to tackle this? Special tool?

I have changed the shocks twice and it is a pain. I will be switching shocks again this weekend.

Suggestions?

Slapshot:

I recently ordered the 01/02 L shocks for my 2000 from fordpartsonline. The insulators (rear nuts) are not included with the shocks and must be purchased seperately.

I haven't yet installed the new shocks, so I can't comment on the ride/handling characteristics.
