Unhappy No more Mr. Nice guys

For those living within the BC-Canada limits: You may have heard the recent speed racing deaths/accidents/injuries in the past few months or so, mainly around the Vancouver area. There was a few speed related inncodents around the Kelowna area as well in the past week. Just this past weekend there were 3 cases of a 2yr license suspension given to street racers. From the recent rash of street racing, and injuries resulting of such, the cops now have the power to pull your license on the spot for a 2 yr or more period, as well as impound your vehicle. Guess they're not messing around anymore. Yikes. What's a Lightning owner to do when there's an idiot Honda revving it up beside ya?? Dohh. Watch yourselves out there.

Just smile and drive away safely knowing you could waste his a$$ if he'd meet you the track.

Yeah but a lot of the time, that horse-power-hungry monster rears its ugly head, along with the devil on my shoulder kicking the **** of the angel on my other shoulder, and telling me to go for it.
Just wish they had more tracks to go to around here. Not a whole lot available. I usually have good judgement as to when to shut down a race. But even then, I could still get nailed pretty bad. I mostly just flex my muscle enough to let them know who's Daddy, and then back off and wave. But then there's the odd worthy-competitor that eggs ya on, which could result in losing the truck, getting a large fine, losing license and having to take the welfare wagon from there on That could hurt bad.

I would like to see some statistics as to what kind of vehicles are involved in these "Street racing" accidents. I bet the imports are among the top cars involved i.e. riced out hondas and such.
