Help with Soft Tonneau cover?????

I'm trying to "roll it up" for the first time. I've unhooked it from the back, removed the two posts which hold the cover up, and have started rolling it to the front of the bed to strap it with the two straps. However, it doesn't seem to want to "roll" at all!! Is this normal, and you just do what you can and then strap them??

I have the factory cover and it rolls up ok just can't roll it too tight. It helps to have a person on each side start the process and when you are done you should have a roll that is somewhere in the range of 10 inches across.

The first time it's still very stiff. It's much easier to have a person on either side of it to roll it up tight. I've rolled it up by myself and it usually looks sloppy in the end. It doesn't bother me much 'cause usually it just for a short ride hauling some furniture (just moved).

A trick I use:

I remove the hard piece the tonneau cover attaches to in the back and I roll the tonneau cover around this "bar" until it's completely rolled up. It keeps things nice and neat.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to take the bar out after you've strapped the rolled up cover in place. It is only used as a guide when rolling it up.

Make sense?

Sounds good, just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything. I did it myself, yes, it looks sloppy, but it will work til i get the bed cleaned out.
Thanks everyone!
