Saw one of these in Burlington, NC. 2 weeks ago. He had sportier wheels, but basically the same set up. I was in my work truck behind him. Beside him was an LS1 Camaro. When the light changed, they both got into it hard. The pickup lost, but not by much. About half a car length or so in a little over an 1/8 mile. Not too bad I'd say.

I don't know what kind of set up he had. I guess he could have been modded up pretty good. The exhaust didn't give anything away. It sounded stock. Who can tell by the sound though? Right?

I remember someone mentioning these trucks from Mexico a few months ago and, when I actually saw one, had to post about it. I'm not calling it competition or anything. I just thought it was interesting to see one so far away from the border. And yes, it did have NC plates.

Yup, That is the same exact type of truck I saw while vacationing in Mexico last year, ( 1st picture).
