some new pics.. (not for the bandwith challenged)

i took a couple of new pics today..

cant see it too well, but its silver tire dressing.. (it was 5 bucks.. i said, what the heck)

i need to paint the diff. cover.. any tips?





i spotted a little rust the other day.. what will stop it without a lot of body work? naval jelly? paint? help!

If you want it to last, take the differential cover off and sandblast it, prime, and paint it with a eurathane paint.

The rust you "spotted today", where is it? Sheet metal?

yeah.. the crescent shaped cut has a little rust in it.. is there a product that will stop the rust?

its just a little spot.. but it bugs me.

I had a product for my old van that changed the chemical structure of what was rusting, I'll see if its out in the garage, because I don't remember its name.

I use a product called SKYCO-OSPHO. It does a good job of stopping rust on my boat trailer. Like thepawn said I think it changes the chemical composition of the rust. They use it on the oil rigs in the gulf...Can't remember where I bought it as it's in a 32oz. bottle and you don't need much.It stops rust in it's tracks though...

litnfast: is the stuff a paint? or liquid? did you cover up it up with paint afterwards?
