Shopping for a bed-lid for my soon-to-be-purchased Lightning. Like the Fibernetics "Aerosport" the best, but requires drilling in the bed. Also like Snuglid, but no dealers in MN.

But, I like the look of the Leer 700 Series. Have seen it posted in black here, but if anyone has it in red or silver, I appreciate seeing pics and comments. Have seen the negative posts on East-coast plant quality issues...my dealer says I can refuse it for color match or quality issues.

I would have preferred to get one that did not have the handle on top, because it interferes with my spoiler. But, I live in Alaska and Leer was the only kind that they sold in town at a decent price. I paid $950 installed and painted. That ain't bad for up here....... trust me. It would probably be cheaper where you live.

If you need some better pictures than just email me and I can send them to you. Overall, I have been very happy with it. I think someone did use my cover as a place to put their bag while they got in their car a few weeks back. It looks like whoever sat their bag on my cover, unlocked their car, and then slid their bag off my cover. Put a few scratches in the clearcoat! I was very pissed!!!!!!!! If I had seen them do it............. well, probably would have led to jail time!
