Hi all,
I was going to buy a new '02 within the next few days but I just went to the sales dept and in my region Ford has dropped the 0%-3.9% financing incentive. I was wondering if I might be able to do a little traveling and pick one up at a lower rate?

Every dealership I went to when I was looking for mine said ford doesn't sell SVT with the special rate.
It does even say that on one of the web sites I looked at which detailed the plan.
I was kind of bummed when I found that out. People here will tell you otherwise, but from experience calling around to almost every dealership in my area, it's not offered on a Lightning.

 

it was offered here as little as a week ago on 2002, and it is still being offered on 2001 models if you can find one of those still sitting.

 

The dealer I'm shopping at showed me his "incentives" board and there was nothing for the "L" right now. But it showed that any new Ford incentives will be coming down on April 8th. With that said, understand that there STILL may be nothing on the Lightning.

Kinda sucks as Dodge has what...5 yrs/70,000 miles and GM has rebates. Get witht he program FORD!

Ford has been offering tons of incentives...but after the first inital string of 0% ended...ford stopped offering it on SVT's and Escapes...and never offered it on T-birds. Why would they when they don't need to do it to sell the cars?

GM has rebates...but excludes cars that are selling well, such as Corvette.
