Boost Acuator Mod?
Yeah it helped to **** me offf one day before I went to the track. Its a headache and not worth the time, It wont do anything but maybe adjust how quick the boost comes in. The factory setting is perfect on most....

I am suspect that we are talking about two different subjects here. Adjusting the height of the boost control valve and re-routing the vacuum to the boost control valve.

Scroll down below the pulley's and you will see it. Anyone that says it didn't help at all, than your actuator was adjusted properly from the factory. Anyone that could not get it to work for them, then you did something wrong. I see people paying money for 2# pulleys all the time. I done the adjustment on my truck and several others and have seen gains from a half a pound to a pound and a half. Now that was FREE and I say it was worth the money. Now to understand what its doing. The bypass line on the S/C has a valve in it and when you ask for boost the valve should shut. Some trucks are not set correctly from the factory and the valve is not closeing all the way and some of your boost is not going into the intake, its being bypassed around and around. When you do this adjustment properly it makes sure the valve closes all the way and get all you boost. If you raise the actuator to much then the valve may stick closed and it runs terrible when this happens. Just loosen it up and move the arm to unstick it and readjust it until the foot just does hit the stop.
