Man, those guys can get stirred up in a hurry!!!! I thought everything came back to somewhat normal when they were called to the carpet. They just don't want to admit we can compete (beat) with a truck for around 30K when they are paying so much more for their cars! It has to be the PE*(&, I mean truck envy

Most of us late model Vette folk are supporting us Lightning owners. I am really caught in the middle since I have a 2000 Vette and 00 L. It should really get interesting!

I just talked to a buddy of mine that works at the FORD engine plant here in WINDSOR. He went down to the dyno room to talk to a friend and they just happen to have a 2003 MUSTANG COBRA 4.6, 4-valve, supercharged engine on the dyno. The ROMEO plant had sent them one to have dynoed. Well let's just say that FORD's is massivly underating that engine's H.P at 390H.P (FLYWHEEL). He saw the dyno sheets stating that it had made 441H.P (FLYWHEEL) with all acceseries and full exhaust system. WOW!!!!!! I think if those are the TRUE #'s then the Z06 VETTES are going to be in trouble!!!!!!!

 

Hey guys. I'm always having to defend your trucks over there. Most of those vette owners don't respect anything that isn't a vette. I'm pretty big into Lightnings and can't decide whether that or a vette will be my next vehicle (maybe a GN as well), but just thought it was cool to see some L owners there.

 

i am suprised that a few people actually admiited that the lightning has great handling!

The Vette owners will learn one by one as they get their butt spanked by the fugly trucks.I had a Vette and Lightning at the same time.One was fun the other was ok, nothing special so I sold it,which means now I only have the Lightning left!!!!

TheBoredGuy - be like me, get the L for now and save the pennies for the z06 or equivelent when you get it. Thats my goal
