Cobra Water pump ..Huh

Hey could some one please tell me why people are running Cobra water pumps.. Is there something wrong with our..???

They are running cobra R water pumps not just cobra water pumps. The Cobra R's have a different and better impeller design to flow more fluid and they are a lot lighter.

I always love to hear about how much "lighter" these waterpumps are! this kills me. for those of you who didn't know, our trucks weigh nearly TWO and a HALF TONS! or about 4900lbs with a driver and a tank of gas.

parasitic loss from turning the fan and such MAY add up, but I don't buy the weight thing.

for the same weight that you'll save with a Cobra R waterpump, you might as well just skip lunch and save a hundred bucks or so.

Actually, the part numbers are the same for the Cobra and Cobra R.

Hey superfords, no matter how you slice it, weight removal, even in small amounts, helps.

Each 10 lbs = .01 ET & .1 MPH
