Take it to the track before 100 miles, that's what most of us have done.

Congratts

I guess you didn't listen to me, I told you not to test drive one, LOL

This is what I recomend

Just drive it and enjoy your new truck, the only thing I wouldn't do is to drive for long periods of time at the same speed.

As for oil changes
I changed my oil with conventional oil at 1000, 3000, 6000, then at the next oil change I put Mobil One 5w-30 in it.

Allways use the Motorcraft FL 820S filter.

Talking Congratulations!

Enjoy my friend! You can never change oil to often. Break in period is crucial. Many tiny metal fragments. Personally 1st change 1000mi/engine flush.

Thumbs up

Congrats on the truck!!

as for break in drive it like you want to... the only thing I would suggest (and this goes for all the time not just break in) Do not run WOT until the engine is warmed up some.

Oil change... Well that is really up to you ford recommends 3000 miles BUT I would change it between 1000 and 1500. Make sure you use a good filter NOT fram.... use FMC, K&N, or something like that. After the first change do it every 3000 (or 3 months if you only make short trips and don't rack up miles).

What color do you end up with? I hope you got Silver cuz it IS the fastest

Enjoy your truck!

Congrats on the new truck. you might ask your local politicians, if you might be able to get a special color, or no plates at all. looks like a $1000 tux with an orange tie

Looks blue to me but it's hard to tell. Maybe he'll enlighten us.

Nice truck, black or blue. Pity it's not silver, the fastest color!
