Questions from a new owner

i just got a 2000 lightning, and have some questions about some used parts i saw for sale on this site.

there is a 6lb. JL pulley that states it will only fit a 01 or 02 truck, and i was wondering why, or if it would work on my 2000.

also, whats the deal with changing a JL ram air kit to a dual kit? My truck already has a JL kit on it, and i saw something in the classifieds too that turns it into a dual ram air.

thanks for helping me if you can.

The pulleys can only fit 99 & 00 or 01 & 02. they are not interchangeable from the early Gen 2s to the later Gen 2s.

I would call JL and ask him that specific question about his air filter kit.

Congratulations on your new purchase! The disease spreads quick and is impossible to shake!

I had a single JL kit at first. I then got the parts to go to the dual kit. If you have a single kit and want to go to the dual setup its a easy upgrade.....
