How do you take the drivers seat out?

I know this has been covered before but without the search it is all I can do to ask.

So how would I go about taking my drivers seat out?

T-55.

Sears has a fancy schmancy Craftsman one mounted in it's own 3/8" drive chrome plated stocket for about $10. Or walk across the store to the Sears automotive section and get a cheaper plain one for about 1/3 of that.

yes,, dont forget the two power connecters under the seat,, all you have to do is use a regular old t55 torx bit to unscrew everything (should be pretty easy to come out, but i'd get a cheaper craftsman just cause if you break the bit you get it automatically replaced) once you have unscrewed all the torx bolts (4 in all you can get to them by moving the seat back and forth for more room,, even moving passenger seat up or back will help to get more room to turn the bolts) tip the seat to the side and make sure you currectly pull out both power cords,, then you can remove the seat,, its bulky, but not heavy at all, just dont drop it

Also if you plan on removing the passenger seat,, remember where the middle seatbelt screws to and how its routed, and you can do the same with no power connecters to worry about,, only thing you have to worry about on passenger seat is that the seat moving mechanism is independent on each side,,, meaning if it is unbolted and out and you pull on the seat moving lever,, each side will move at different intervals,,, you can easily fix it when you go bolt it back in, but it just might confuse you when all the holes dont line up right
