does anyone know if the new quick change pulley combo , i have been hearing about, at JDM ,will let you change the rear belt without taking the cage off? or will you still need to remove,the cage to replace the rear drive belt= accesorybelt waterpump alt etc?
i know or at least i surmised from previous threads ,the caged pulley is the way to go if you want longevity of your main bearing.
i was just curious about the new setup on the JDM quick chasnge'pulley combo = would it be easier to change out the rear belt also?
also any comments concerning the caged verses uncaged=150,000 mile club of the future,would be appreciated

 

If you maintain use of the stock cage, which the new JDM interchangeable pulley does, you cannot change the rear belt without first yanking off the entire pulley and cage assembly.
