Question Stx F150?

I've seen 2 of these in the last week driving around, and I'm just wondering what they are. Is it just a standard 5.4 F150 styleside with a body kit?

the STX is a appearance package.. painted bumpers/grill/mirrors, bigger rims/tires.

they usually have 4.2L v6's or 5.4L v8's around here.

Here's Flatsman's "regular ole' F150". I pretty sure it's an STX.

It's a great looking truck and he'll give you a good run for your money(certainly not stock)...

I thought the STX package only came with either a 4.2 V6 or a 4.6 V8. Never heard of a 5.4L STX

Cool

J D Blackwell-I think you are right. There was, however a Sport offered in Texas, Okla, and a few other places, that looked just like an STX but had the 5.4L installed!
As TampaSVT said, My truck is an STX 4.6L and it is definitely not stock!

Mr. Moderator:

Forgive me for I have sinned (just starting on my second Scotch and Water), but is your pic a bit of tongue in cheek?

The "Beast" is sitting at the line and 90% of the observers are looking Waaaaay down the track and no one is in the other lane.

Please tell me if I am right. BTW, that is one nice ride and pretty darn quick for the motor it's running.

I was being Senior Member ( Thats MR Senior Member to you ) when I posted the picture of the beast staged at FFW In the first round of Top truck...

They were watching the results of the prior race... You know they race one after the other down here....

Here is a better shot

For future reference........ When you're taking a pic of a hot honey in a black Tank-Top, use the zoom and center the picture better. I can only see half of her.

Plain ole F150. Bigger tires. Stupid stickers.
I think Flats Man has got the right idea. I did like him and removed the stickers . He's still way ahead of me though!

The STX does look better than a regular one going down the road.
