Lpp Longtubes (LIGHTNING)

Hey, does anybody know were I can find that post about Longtube headers that are listed in the classifieds. Trying to see if they are still for sale and how much horsepower will I gain? Anyone got a clue? Im new to these things and just caught that the other day and now I cant find it. Thanks

See you're in South GA. Welcome to the Lightning 'family'.

I don't think headers will help any in the performance dept. but will change/increase the sound level. LT headers should help once you increase the boost by 4 lbs or more. I got my L into the 12s with the stock exhaust and just a 3 lb of extra boost(plus other mods). I now have JDM's Magnaflow c/b--stock headers.

Btw, when/if you get ready to dyno your L, go see Aaron Scott, owner/operator of South Ga. Corvettes in Thomasville. He's a little expensive but great service and he let's you take a ZR1 for a drive --LOL

Hey, Im allready in the 12.20 range and Iv'e already ripped a drive shaft out. I was just hoping to increase time slip?
