Is PRO-POWER saying the block can take it? That's a BIG gamble using the factory block. Even if you use A.R.P. fastners you hope the webbing can take the added stress of a larger crank. Does anyone have specs on the crank and rods?

Not to mention that even if you can keep it together the people are going to get little out of it with the factory heads, restricted as they are! Waist of cash in my opinion. New heads would be money well spent.

If someone would just make some! How long do we have to wait? We have enough Lightning's out to justify it. Cash on a stroker kit with restricted heads?? No way! Just my .02

The engine design is similar. The 5.4L block is different. It has a higher deck-height.

Seriously, these motors have a long stroke now. Thats why we are breaking factory rods. Look at a stock 5.0 There stroke is alot smaller and can handle ALOT of power!!
