Which driveshaft loop should i get?

JDM: $89
JLP: $60
Any other brands/prices?
Any advantage of one over the other (assuming you really know both or all products)?

the JLP & PSP are very close. Both take about 5 min each to put on and are very nice!

JL and PSP's are bolt-ons. JDM and LFP's require drilling.

I have a JL loop.

It's listed in the chassis parts section. It goes for $60 and it bolts to existing holes in the frame

The Metco DS loop is sold by JDM, LFP and SFPHQ.
It is going to be the strongest because of it's one piece design. It is a little more difficult to install. (DS removal, drilling, etc.) I personally think this one looks the best. It also tucks up nicely under the truck.

The DS loops offered by PSP and JLP are two piece designs. They won't be quite as strong as the Metco DS loop but they are much easier to install.

Any of the above will get the job done in preventing your truck from becoming a "mechanical pole-vault" =)

Hope this helps . . .

Actually, I beg to differ on that...

The stainless steel hardware we use to connect the two sections is stronger than what it's connecting. It's just as strong as the one peice design. Also, our loop protects you in two ways. If the one piece type breaks or rips out of the floor, your shaft is on the ground. If our loop section fails or seperates from the frame strap, the frame strap still keeps the shaft off the ground. Just FYI.

I'm assuming they're all made and shipped with bare metal? Could get rusty, but then again i'm in Arizona.
The JDM unit looks cleaner, round like the drive shaft, but i'm not sure if that matter to me. Are the PSP/JLP units very visible when looking under the truck?
SAL - thanks for the link.

The PSP come bare & JLP come powdercoated black....

Not visible unless you get under the truck....

So when comparing the JLP to the PSP, they are basically the same, and same price, but the JLP is powder coated?
