Yellow Lightning

Curious as to the upkeep of a yellow L. I am always complaining that my red L is always looking dirty. A buddy of mine is good friends w/a paint shop. I am debating on having it repainted since I have seen some of the work he has done & his work is always top notch.
Since I have always like the yellow hot rod look, wondering if anyone has even had a yellow paint job, does the dirt, water spots show up just as easily as dark colors?

My friend has a yellow Z06 and that thing stays pretty clean compared to dark vehicles.

Since they don't have yellow in the F-150 plant, I wouldn't count on it.

I had a '99 Mustang in yellow. Chrome Yellow was what the color was called. The yellow didn't show dirt at all. I was very impressed.

Apparently you can only get the mustang in that lemon yellow color now (don't know the name), but they still make the Ranger in Chrome Yellow.

I have always hoped that they would make a Chrome Yellow Lightning, that would look awesome.

You should do it!

Steve

My R/T is yellow and it gets more looks than damn near anything on the road, and when its dirty it looks clean from a few feet away, and looks even cleaner when it is clean!! Cant go wrong with yellow

If your truck didn't get enough looks already... heh. I'd do yellow, if I had the guts. =) Do it!
