I have heard that certain mods will not void factory warranty

For example Cat Back Exhaust and Electric Fan Kit, is this true?

If so what are others?

If Cat Back is true, then what about headers and higflows cats?

Headers and high flow cats WILL void your warranty. I personally would not try to put anything past a dealership. If you don't want to worry about your warranty then don't do any mods other than for aesthetics.

its really up to each dealer (Ford service department that is) as to what they will and will not accept. remember one day a chip may be ok and then they get caught by an area rep and the next day a chip is no longer ok..... I had a dealer install gears and swap GT40 heads on my mustang UNDER warranty..... had another dealer try to void out my warranty on another mustang for a short belt (bypassing the smog pump)

as soap said.... if you are worried about a warranty don't do anything to the truck that you cant take off in a hurry if service is needed.
