Driving n/b on I-75(South of Macon, GA.) this am, I saw a Southbound transporter with two Lightnings(?) that were YELLOW with(I think--we were both haulin') black hoods. We went by each other so quickly that I didn't get a 'good' look but they surely looked like Lightnings........anybody know what I saw???

I bet it was the Boss. I ran across one the other day. Thought it was an L also till I slowed down for him to catch up. They do look nice though.

 

Yupp if it had a black hood that would be that POS and FUGLY if you ask me BOSS 5.4.

Oh thats just my 2 Lightnings that have over 1000hp each.. before the NOS...LOL. I was taking them down to Florida for a car show. Yeah...I wish.

I can't understand posts like this. Is the Boss 5.4 a lightning, no. But to say that the Boss 5.4 is ugly, I just don't get it. I think it looks better than any truck on the road with the exception of the L & the Harley Edition F150. Also to say it is a "POS", when 90% of it is identical to an L is rediculous. Sheesh... I'm actually disappointied that the L isn't available in the Boss color, I think it looks good, the side steps would have to go, but otherwise it's OK.

Believe me I understand exactly what he was saying & what you are saying, I simply think it's rediculous. I suppose it's some sort of jealousy or ego thing, still crazy to me.

 

i dont think that it has anything to do with ego, and deffinately not jealous, i think its just a really ugly truck. just my $.02

i just dont see how someone could pay $35,000 for a truck with a non supercharged 5.4.

unless the dealers say they are faster than L's.

a dealer at landers ford in collierville told damon that it would take his lightning with no problem.

i think they are ugly.
the wheels are ugly.
the body kit is ugly.

the interior is nice.
i love a jazzed up interior on anything..

the paint job is great, just the truck looks stupid.

i would love to have one for a collection to park in a garage but i dont think i could drive one..
