Question Tampa SVT & RTKILLA

Fellas,

Have either one of you had any problems with the fiberglass sidesteps ??? The reason I ask is that my driver side split down the seam and I found out why. No vent holes !!! A good friend of mine who is in the fiberglass business informed that when you have a 2 piece design like that and no vent holes it creates an air pocket and when it gets hot ( Florida ) it expends and eventually cracks. This happened to me when I was in Orlando. I fixed the crack and drilled 2 small holes on the backside of the steps. This should prevent future problems.

Oh I see how it is!

Hey, I can't wait to hear your truck!!!!!!

I installed my new shocks like yours and the only thing I didn't like is that they didn't extend far enough so I had to jack up the lower control arms to get them bolted properly and then I could lower them and the shocks where actually supporting the lower's now. Did you have the same results? I haven't road on them yet so I have no clue what they feel like. only 39 bills each too.

Nothing wrong with mine, but I never park it outdoors.

When you say vent holes, are you telling me that your steps aren't solid?
