I think it looks sweet, but now you need a chrome speed grille and some chrome 20" wheels with a 3/4 drop kit!
I do love the flames!!!!! Makes me want to have my own creation painted on my truck afterall. Lightning bolts!!!!

.I couldn't get back to the computer to help you post your pic but I see that you got it up with the help of someone else.
Your flames look GREAT , unlike some of the others I've seen.
The subtle colors you chose show maturity and restraint, both are excellent qualities when making a decision of this degree.Your decision on colors didn't happen lickety-split and that's very apparent! Congratulations are in order for you, my man!
great job, man!
I like the way your flame tips come off the wheel wells.
As for whether or not they "should" go back onto the doors, your style looks like the vintage style where they kept `em on the front end so your eyes stay there rather than travel back down the length of the truck. I think that was if the truck had tons of chrome up front, and made for a cool look.
These vehicles are like Harleys: you start with the blank canvas and tune your ideas - sometimes lots of stuff at once, other times bit by bit. You might want to play with the front by "borrowing" a grille from a shop and putting it up against the front. Even black cardboard cut to shape to see how black looks. Bottom line: it's your ride, your style, your personality!
My flames go on in May. First time I've ever painted a vehicle (Harleys included)!

so uh....chickenears - you think my flames look immature and bad?
All I wanted to do was compliment the guy on his color choice.

Thanks for the complaments and opinions. This is by far the scariest thing I have ever done. I dident sleep for 5 days while this was getting done. I was so afrad it would look stupid or wrong colors etc. Painting the grille and the ford logo were just to see how it would look. The ford logo is back on the grille and am looking around at grilles. I had Chome 18 inch factory wheels on the truck but sold then to buy 20s, The deal fell threw so i had to buy them new. They should be on the truck within a couple weeks. The 3/4 drop is sitting in front of me in boxes. I will install that soon but for now ........offf to mexico !!!!!!!!!
Keep and eye out for the truck at North East car shows ford events etc. Also keep and eye out for my 93 cobra that if everthing goes as planned should be hanging off the back of the truck on a nice pretty trailer very soon. Thanks for all your help !
