92 mm & Power Pipe

Anderson Motors is offering a 92MM Pro M, power pipe and filter kit (not cheap). Has anyone tried this setup? See it here:

That's not too bad of a price considering what Truckperformance.com is asking for the GMS 92mm MAF alone.

To make anymore HP you would think that the A/F ratio would change, so who's going to reprogram your chip? On top of that what if you already have a reprogramed chip that takes ~4-5 current mod's then who are you going to turn to? If you're lucky you can go to your local hotrod shop have them probe you and MAYBE you can send the A/F data to one of the big 3 for a custom reburn.

I would say that these speciality parts are only an option IF you live next to one of the big 3, that is.

IMHO.

Dont live within 3000 miles of a tuner!

Vicksmotor you are probably right. If the setup gives you an increase in airflow, your chip would have to be programed to take advantage of the gain. BaBolt was working on a powerpipe, but he likes to do one of a kind things (probably looks great on his truck and works well to boot).
