Talking Pictures from yesterday@ LACR

It was a lot of fun, too bad the altitude sucks. I got to show off my new 2" drop in the rear, and try out the new truck traks that Jay Lincoln brought for me.

Dale and I were the first to run down the track.

I had him for a while until the end.

Here's the trucks, Jay Lincolns, Dale's and mine(from Left to right).

There were 3 other trucks there, another Black 01, a Blue 02 (VERY nice looking!), and another Silver (not sure on the year). But they left before I got to take pictures of them all. Great racing with you guys again. Hope to do it again (but maybe somewhere sea level).

Hey, Marcus,

It was a great time out there, despite the cold!

I checked the LACR site and got the sea level conversions:

e/t: et x .9679
mph: mph x 1.03

it took my et down .5 seconds and my speed up 3 mph!

damn, no pic of the blue one with you all!?!?!

I had a great time too!

It would have been great to get a picture of all the L's that were there in one group shot.. but oh well

After seeing the 2" drop in the rear, I think it's time I got the shackles... I need that "even" look

-Dale

Carlsbad next weekend... possibility?

I was thinking the same thing. It's a long drive, but I miss not running 12's!! Plus, I'd like to try these traction bars out 1 more time before the L goes back to stock.

Wolf, great meeting you man. You do have an awesome looking L. Sorry I didn't get any pics of yours. Maybe next time!

It was great racing with you guys. I just wish we could have made more runs, but that's racing.

Brad, it was nice meeting you. Are you sure of hte correction factors. That would have made my beat run a 13.10 at sea level. I wish!

Marcus, great picture. I gusee I have a new background for my computer. I am still using the one from Sport Truck.

I'll see if Carlsbad fits the schedule. Two weekends in a row is difficult to get into the plans. You single guys have a lot more flexability in your schedules.

Dale, I guess the Truck-Traks worked, with .1 decrease in your 60' times. That's better that I figured. Keep it up. If Brad's correction factor is correct, you were deep in the 12's.

conversion factors

Jay,

Hey, I'm not pulling the math out of my exhaust pipe

go to LACR.net and click on their weekly schedule, scroll down a bit and you'll find the conversion factors.

If I'm wrong, I'll buy a set of your traction bars at FULL price

Thanks. Brad. I'll check it out.

That makes my best run a 13.11 @ 104.99.

I guess that's conceivable. If I can get to Carlsbad, I just might make the 12's. Loots ;ike you need a set fo Truck-Traks.

Gates open at 1pm and yes you need a helmet. There will definately be several Lightnings there this weekend. They were closed on Saturday which pissed me off after making the drive, but oh well. Hope to see some of you out there again.

Marcus- are you in or are you undecided?
