Lightbulb Signature Suggestion

I think it would be a good idea to identify in your signatures the mileage that is on your truck when you install a different mod as well as the total number of miles. Example:

k&N - Installed at 3000 miles
JL Ram air - Installed at 6500
Chip and 4lb pulley - Installed at 11500
Currently 18,000 miles on truck with no problems.

This would give everyone an idea of reliability issues, and it could possibly expose a pattern of problems that multiple owners may be having. I know that this could take some time for those of you that have numerous mods, but I think that it could be beneficial in the longrun.

Only the width of the post would increase, the length would not be affected.

No, It's the functional Ram Air hood from Good Hood. I have one in the shop right now for my 2002 HD.

Thanks for the compliment! When you see that hood in the magazines in some of the vendors ads, the pictures don't do it justice. It's a whole different look once you actually get the hood on your truck.

outnumbered,

Thanks. I guess you jumped in right before I posted. Sounds like a pretty good price. That functional ram air kit works on the L?

FordBoy, You would have to modify the kit somewhat for the L. The kit is only for a regular F-150 which has the cylinder style air box. So that I don't have to destroy my stock HD air box, I have purchased a used L air box and a regular F150 air box to modify.
