How hard would it be to put the factory 2001 up f 150 signal mirrors on a 2000?

I've been thinking of this for a while but have no clue of costs and difficulty of the project.

any help is appericiated..

I would say it is a very easy job, your truck is already wired for them so just remove yours, bolt on the new ones and plug them in, about an hour job at the most. I took out both my factory 2000 mirrors and changed the glass for the Muth singnal mirrors and put them back on in about an hour. So it would be an even easier switch for you. If you really want them buy and do the switch, you will be happy.

The 99's would be a different story right?

 

I put the singnal mirrors and the door key pad in my 2000 and it was wired for both, I have heard that the 99's were not wired for the door key pad, but I don't know about the 99's for the signal mirrors.

the "signal mirrors" you are talking about, are those the ones that have the arrow in the glass?

 

Yes those are the ones that I put on mine.

I installed them on my OO and key pad with no problems was already wired for them. My brotheres 99 took a lot longer but it can be done just had to cut a lot of wires.

 

how much do the cost and where can we get them?

 

I was also wondering about that for my 99. Are the blinkers on the outside mirrors alot more then the muth style? Thanks
