Arrow True Blue L's?

I am going to be getting a lightning and I narrowed down the color options down to the blue or the silver. I like the blue better but don’t know if its worth getting because of how hard it will be to keep clean compared to the silver. Can you guys/gals post some pics of True-blue L’s? Thanks in advance.

Later,
TONE

P.S. Any comments on how hard/easy the blue is to keep clean will also be helpful.

Have you actually seen a "True Blue" yet?

The actual color, seen "in-person" is not close, at all (in my opinion) to the color in the Lightning brochure. The blue in the brochure seems to have a lot of gray in it, while the actual truck is a very dark, but very metallic (lots of metal particles in the paint), blue. It's not an enamel (flat) Navy Blue, but almost.

Photos don't do a good job either, because of all the variations in film, and digital photos can really be inaccurate.

My advice is to go look at one. I think they would almost as difficult as black to keep clean.

The silver is great, but won't have the deep gloss of a black, blue or red. Still like the silver, however. Normally I don't think silver is a great color, but it looks nice on the Lightning.

I've had my blue L for just over a week. I bought it sight unseen, saw the color on the svt website. It's a dust attracter, it shows every little spec of dust. If you like washing your truck (which I don't) you'll be in heaven. I still like the blue (compliments my 427 S/C), the metallic flakes are large for a production paint job. Everyone thinks it's a black L when they first see it. Go True Blue!

Yah, it is a very dark blue. It looks totally black at night. However, it IS a very unique color, since it's the first year they've offered it on the Lightning. I picked silver since mine is a daily driver and it almost always "looks" clean.

luv my blue!

This is the first non-white truck I have owned (number 4). I had wanted white for my `02, but at the time, it was not being produced.

Gotta say that here in the desert, where the @$^%ing wind blows dust ALOT of the time, it is more of a chore keeping it clean.
That said, the color is awesome! It gets tons of looks and comments, and the color does change with time of day from near black to a light navy. Not having owned a black vehicle, it does seem a bit easier to keep cleaner, less noticable on paint/clearcoat imperfections.

bottom line: would not trade it for any other color

I also get a lot of people that think the truck is black initially. I love the color. I own a black 64-1/2 mustang(owned for 15+yrs) and have owned a black z71, and must say that it is about the same to keep clean as black. Takes a lot of washing, but I love the look and don' t mind the washes. Also is neat that I have never met another truck like mine on the road(only owned it for 1 month). Go True Blue!!

Red is so fast that bugs don't even stick to it.
Plus, chicks dig red, or something...
