On Board Dyno

What are your thoughts and would any of you like to have an On-Board-Dyno. It would be real time and show your actual drive shaft TQ and HP while you drive. Display can be a 1/2" digital display or two 2 5/8" guages labeled Hp and TQ. The info can also be sent to a datalogger.

Currently used by top fuel and funny cars. I have this for boats and now want to see about it for cars/trucks. Thanks for any input.

No not at all. I'm talking about a device which attaches to the driveshaft yoke coming out of the trans and thru a 'strain guage' it will measure actual TQ while you drive. The readout or guage will show Tq or Hp all the time while you drive. No PC, weights, timing. It will tell you how much TQ/Hp is being transmitted thru the drive shaft.

Accurate to 0.5%. Measures actual TQ at the output of the trans. and then calculates HP. Having guages made now which will read 0-1000 Torque or Horsepower. Pricing?
