01 L's first time at the track

Well, I just made it back from Reynolds Raceway and have a timeslip for best run.

R/T .557

60' 2.064

E/T 13.90

MPH 98.93

I think I could have got in the low 13.80's as the night was cooling but there was a major crash with a Pro-Stock T-Bird. He totaled the car as he flipped @ 160 mph. Luckily the driver was not hurt.

My 60' times stayed between 2.06 and 2.08. I hope the times will come on down some after I get a few more miles on the L. I only have 2,750 miles on the truck so I guess I need to start driving it more to get it broke in.

Cool, sounds like you had a blast.
It looked like you had some major wheel spin off the line. Next time try easing into the throttle which will help your 60' times.

What were you running for air pressure in the rear tires? I run 27psi

I was running around 23 psi in the rear tires and was getting wheelspin on the line. I may have let too much air out of the tires.
