I want to replace the stock bulbs and cannot see how to easily to remove the lenses. I found what appears to be 2 release levers you can pull up but other than that I do not see what should be obvious. Can anyone help me? I must be getting slow.

 

You were on the right track. After you pull those 2 levers up the headlights should just pull right out. Goodluck

When you pull the levers up they will catch. You have to pull a little harder to get them around the catch and then the headlights should pull or be pushed straight out.
