Did the 2002 invoice increase over 01?

I went looking to order an 02 and I noticed the invoice was at like 29100? Does this sound right? That means X plan is around 30K now?

If this ? has been posted before sorry!

X-plan for 2001 was 28,740. It cant be much more than 29,100 for a 2002.

I paid 28,831 for my 02 without the tonneau cover with the X-plan. You have to watch these dealers. They are very creative. When they give you the cash purchase price make sure you have them detail it out for you. When I bought mine in addition to the sales tax they added a 479.00 for a dealer fee. I didn't discover it until 3 days later when I was going over my paper work. and the math didn't add up. They did refund it back to me after I raised hell about it.

My 02 x-plan price was a little under $29K. They pulled the invoice, multiplied the A-plan price times 1.04, and showed it to me. I double checked their numbers. It all checked out.

They did offer me a just little less than I'd hoped for my immaculate 01 trade-in with 17K miles, but since that other manufacturer has been offering 2.9% financing on new 02s since last October I had little room to bargain. It was a fair deal overall.
