Dyno #'s & Chip Info...

First off these are the mods that were tested...

JL Tuned Diablosport Chip (Mild Street & Hot Street)
JL 6LB Lower Pulley
JL Powercooler
JL Driveshaft Loop
JL Ram Ait Kit
JL Filter Kit
PSP 4-way Chip (Mild Street,Race,Cold Weather, Economy)
PSP Factory Tech Valve Body
PSP Deep Tranny Pan & Filter
PSP CalTrac Traction Bars
Bassani Cat Back Exhaust
Denso Plugs

Before Each pull I removed the Negative from the battery for true results...

These pulls are what I would have under normal conditions (Street no cooldown or powercooler)
First Pull- PSP Mild Street Program 402/503 11.3 a/f
Second Pull- JL Mild Street Program 401/499 11.5 a/f

These pulls would be like I am at the track. (10 Min Cooldown with Intake on ice and Ice in powercooler)
Third Pull- JL Hot Street Program Almost a Race 414/519 11.8 a/f
Fourth Pull- PSP Race Program 421/527 11.7 a/f

All of the pulls were done using 10 Gal of Amoco 93 with One bottle of Torco Fuel Additive. That is why the street is alittle Rich because it had gas setup for the Hotter Programs...

At the Track Here were my results from Sunday using these chips...

PSP Race- 12.32 @ 109.87 & 12.34 @109.37
JLP Hot Almost Race- 12.39 @ 108.23 & 12.41 @ 108.12

I dont know alot about Dyno stuff, I mainly just changed my chips and let them do the rest. I guess with the power my stock bottom end is at its limits as well. I want to thank JLP & PSP for all the great service you both have given me. And neither of you will be getting calls from me when something breaks saying its your chips, PAY TO PLAY!!!

I will say this, the street chips are so close to each other its not even funny. If I had a true JL race I would have loved to see how close it was to my PSP. You both are top notch guys and tuners!!

Great post RT. I'd love to the graphs. If you can scan them or take photos of them post 'em so we can see the curves.

Great post. Track numbers match the dyno numbers. Mine will get it's first dyno run in a few hours. Hope my numbers are as good as yours.

Yes I am very pleased with the numbers. My truck feels really good these days. I know with Long Tubes and/or a stall I could hit the 11 second club!!

IC:

Did anyone there see a black cloud of fuel-smoke coming out of your tips when going to WOT? I dynoed my PSP and my JL chip a few weeks ago and they both had a/f ratios in the low 11s like yours. I had black specks of unburned fuel all over my right quarter panel when I finished each pull. I 'think' they were too rich.

Yeah I have Black smoke at times. I would rather have that than clean pipes though.

Richer is better, leaner is meaner!!!

Every supercharged car I have had has blown black smoke out at times...
